Days of Spiritual Culture of Russia in Belarus

The Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation gave the Belarusian audience the unique opportunity to see the performances of Moscow Synodal Choir, Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra and Mariinsky Opera Singers during the Days of Spiritual Culture of Russia in Belarus.
The Days were open with the concert of the Moscow Synodal Choir. The first part of the concert was devoted to the Vespers Chants by S. Rachmaninoff and Liturgy by Tchaikovsky. The second part was supplemented by the secular works of Chesnokov, Sviridov Bortnyansky and other prominent composers. The carefully drafted programme of this evening fully expressed the spiritual community of our nations.
The further programme of the Days of Spiritual Culture of Russia was continued with the outstanding concert of the Tchaikovsky Symphony Orchestra led by the living legend Vladimir Fedoseev, one of the best symphony orchestras in the world. Two evenings in the row maestro was behind the music stand. The first evening was devoted to the songs of the Second World War. During the concert the world-famous singers of Mariinsky Theatre performed the most-loved songs about the war. On the second evening the lovers of the classical music were pleased by the Symphonic Dances and 4th Symphony by Rachmaninoff.
The Days were closed with the Images of Russia, an exhibition created by the prominent St. Petersburg artist Mikhail Nikitin. The idea of the project was about representing various images of Russia - from world-famous architectural ensembles of St. Petersburg to lyrical landscapes showing the rare beauty of the Russian nature.
The exposition was housed in the halls of Minsk Philarmonic Society on November, 10th and 11th. The cultural programme of the Days of Russian Spiritual Culture became a beautiful gift to all citizens of Belarus on the eve of the anniversary of the celebration of the Great Victory.
